The HBSF welcomes NEW Head Coach Jay Nelson to the Hellas SoftballProgram. Coach Nelson retired as the head coach at  Rutgers University atthe end of the 2018 season. He led his team to their first-ever Big 10conference tournament in 2016 and led the 2010 Rutgers team to their 1stBig East tournament and another Big East tournament appearance in 2012.An experienced clinician, Coach Nelson was a top assistant at Seton HallUniversity for 10 years prior to Rutgers, where he helped guide the Piratesto two Big East Championships, three NCAA Tournament appearances andpart of a staff that garnered two regional Coaching Staff of the Yearawards.

The Hellenic Baseball Softball Federation announces the termination of the cooperation with the coach ANTONINO FOTI as well as his partners. E.O.M.S. would like to thank Antonino Foti, Shan McDonald, and Shane Showalter for their valuable assistance in developing the Federation program. They will always be friends of the National Team and we wish them every success in the future.

On December 14, 2022, a visit was made by the President of E.O.M.S. Mr. Kostis Liarommati, accompanied by the Federal Technician Mr. Dionysis Horafas, in the city of Komotini with the aim of promoting and developing baseball and softball in the said city, as well as in the wider region of Thrace and Eastern Macedonia.

The National team at the recent Women's Pan European Championships held in Barcelona, Spain from 7/24 to 7/30 placed 7th out of a total of 21 National teams.

The National Softball team had the opportunity to visit the sports facilities of the private school AVTENERGO in Argos where a new Softball field has been built with the undivided initiative and effort of Mr. Ioannis Karkalatou.

HBSF, as a sign of honor and recognition, awarded during the team's preparation at the DOA facilities the following athletes for their continuous and undivided participation in the Federation's program

The Mayor of Ancient Olympia Mr. Giorgos Georgiopoulos and the Deputy Mayor for Sports Mr. Dimitris Costarias were present at the training of the National Softball Team at the facilities of the International Olympic Academy where the mission is hosted.

The National Softball team held its basic training at the excellent facilities of the International Olympic Academy in Ancient Olympia from 16/7 to 23/7/2022.

Federation President Kostis Liarommatis represented HBSF at the recent WBSC World Congress held in Taipei City, Taiwan on 04 and 05/07/2022.

The U-16 National Softball Team participated in the International Triple Crown in Colorado and placed 5th

The coaching staff of the National Softball Team has announced the athletes who will make up the team at the next Pan-European Championship in Barcelona from 24/7-30/7/2022

Federation President Kostis Liarommatis represented HBSF at the recent WBSC EUROPE Pan-European Conference held in Ljubljana, Slovenia on 11 and 12/2/2022.

The Hellenic Baseball Softball Federation will organize from 12/26/2022 to 12/31/2022 in Tarpon Springs in Florida a training camp for the Women's and Under 22 Softball National team.
